Look carefully into these pieces to fully appreciate the moment they represent. Each design is solidified forever when the glass has cooled, changing states in my hands. Pieces start with clear glass and are worked in flame at an extreme temperature; color is moved around and mixed while molten. I stretch the limits of colors available in the medium, borosilicate, by constantly mixing and experimenting. Creating a full range of color is my biggest challenge, and greatest source of joy. Most all of my inspirations for designs are from the natural world and other forms of art. The movement frozen in each piece is absolutely reflective of the music in and of my life. It is these rhythms, from racing to relaxed, that give the pieces their amazing and unique energy. No two are ever the same. This site is intended not only to be a showcase of my wearable glass art, but also an opportunity to provide insight about what inspires, motivates and quite literally moves it. Accomplished art is an exchange of experience and shared inspiration.
